Computing volumetric weight

Volumetric Weight of a Package

Its necessary to calculate the volumetric weight of a package when the space a package takes on an aircraft may cost more than the package's actual weight. This is usually the case when a very light package is shipped in a large box.
The formula to calculate the dimensional weight based on
Centimeters
VOLUMETRIC WEIGHT = (Length cm. x Width cm. x Height cm.) Divided by 6000
Inches
VOLUMETRIC WEIGHT = (Length in. x Width in. x Height in) Divided by 366

How we compute charges
BM Express will compare Actual Weight vs. Volumetric Weight and take the higher value to compute the Air Cargo Fees.
This is standard practice for all Air parcel weight calculations
